Nepal Humanitarian Leadership Intensive – Disaster Resilience and Trafficking Prevention

Earn humanitarian leadership certification an authentic and engaging way through exposure to Nepalese communities, culture, and resilience.
This three-day leadership program in the Kathmandu Valley invites participants to explore how communities in Nepal build resilience through a systems thinking approach, viewing the community as a complex system made up of interconnected subsystems such as resources, livelihoods, health, and education. Through field visits, community engagement, and interactive sessions, participants will examine how humanitarian challenges like disaster risk reduction and human trafficking in crisis contexts arise from these interdependencies, learning to identify patterns, feedback loops, and leverage points for effective intervention. The program also connects these insights to professional practice, equipping participants with systems thinking skills to analyze complex problems and design integrated solutions across fields such as engineering, policy, business, medicine and humanitarian work.
